6.2 BLOCK EDITOR



As mentioned before, the block-editor is used to edit tracks and blocks. Probably the most important thing when editting is the Edit Mode (located in the status bar). When edit mode is enabled, this LED will light up. This means you can now edit notes, delete notes, cut/copy/paste tracks, etc. When edit mode is disabled, all these operations will not function.
To toggle edit mode, press [ESC].



When edit mode is disabled, the output of the 'virtual piano' will be send to the currently selected synthesizer part or sampler part. When edit mode is enabled, the output of the 'virtual piano' will be send to the sequencer, which in turn sends the data to the part assigned to the current track. So if edit mode is enabled and you're standing on track 4, which is ie. assigned to part 2, all notes you play will be played on part 2. If you then disable edit mode all notes you play will be send to the part selected in the 'presets' menu. (which does not have to be part 2)
